Healthcare Facilities Development

In 2005 Euro Care International begun to develop its first healthcare facility, the €90million Whitfield Clinic in Waterford. The hospital was built in less than 18 months and was built by John Sisk, Irelands largest building company.

The building has been short listed for an international design award and was designed by HKR Architects of Dublin and UK architects Keppie. Set on the edge of Waterford City the hospital takes full advantage of its semi rural setting.

Whitfield which was opened in November 2006 by the then Prime Minister of Ireland Bertie Ahern is a state of the art 13,000 sq metre hospital with 54 inpatient beds and 25 day beds, 15 consulting suiets,4 operating theatres, minor procedures room, 2 endoscopy suites, modern laboratory, pharmacy, CSSD, radiotherapy department, mirror injuries unit and diagnostic department.

Euro Care Group is also owner and developer of the Carlow Health Park on the edge of Carlow Town. This 26 acre site will include a number of health care facilities including:

  • 3 storey hospital to include day surgery unit, minor procedures room, endoscopy suite, consulting rooms, physiotherapy and other therapy area's
  • Diagnostic and primary care centre
  • Minor Injuries walk in centre
  • Retail pharmacy and Creche
  • 104 Bed nursing home
  • 80 independent living and convalescent units
